I don't know but it looks like the water is beading up nicely at least     Makes me want to go wax my car.

I'm thinking it is the wax also. My car will be wet just like that and my wife's will be dry. It is like that almost every morning after the morning dew.

Happened twice while I was working at the dealership during Covid - once I was standing in it - a line down the parking lot - wet on one side - dry on the other. It has to begin and end somewhere - and no the dry side did not get wet later.
