This has probably been featured here before, but I just came across these and thought I'd share them again. THey are old master tech video, or.... errr... digitized slide show and record. How awesome on both accounts. LOL. They go back to at least the 50's and up to the 70's atleast. I have been watching a bunch and learned a lot of tech stuff as well as history. A legit test to determine if the power steering is bad or a belt is to drop water on the belt. To test the suspension you need to jounce the car a couple times. LOL. There are great ignition, power steering, suspension, etc videos. They have old videos when the first performance v8 came out and a ton more. Here are a couple interesting ones.

Chrysler Master Tech - 1969, Volume 69-12 Performance is the Name of the Game

Chrysler Master Tech - 1960, Volume 13-2 Suspension And Front-end Alignment Features - 1960 Models

Chrysler Master Tech - 1954, Volume 7-9 Preignition And Detonation

I've watched a few of them in the past, they are awesome. It is amazing they did all these, and then got converted/posted to YouTube.

Mr Lee

I've watched several of these as well.  Love that someone dug these up and put 'em on you tube!  I definitely learned a few things watching those videos.

Is it just me or does it seem like mechanics back then had to know more.  It seems like they rebuild more parts of the car instead of just tearing them off and replacing them.  Like they had to know more mechanically whereas today mechanics have to know more about electronics.
