Well what the heck: Got a bit bored staying at home and took a job at a local restoration parts retailer. It seems to be working out the first week anyway. Sell lots of GM stuff but I'm hoping to sway in more Mopar sales hopefully. Downside is I don't have a project car just yet but I am tempted to buy parts for one anyway!

Two things come to mind on reading this Sheldon. Just like a kid in a candy store, and letting the fox guard the chicken coop.  :haha:

Enjoy and stay busy.

I think it's great you came out of retirement to work for a bit. It's much better for your mind than being bored! And now, you can help people find the right parts for their dream cars, even if they dream of GM's!  :))

AS we know some dreams are great some re nightmares

I don't see myself ever fully retiring for both financial and mental reasons.  I hope someday to have a choice to do what I WANT to do like you @RUNCHARGER instead of what I HAVE to do to pay bills.

RUNCHARGER

I'm enjoying it. I would have liked to work in the industry earlier but what I did for a career was a better way to pay the bills. I don't mind helping other make guys either as I like all old cars. I just choose to only build Mopars for myself. I also think working in the business will allow me to find some hidden treasures as well. I am 61 years old now and we'll see how it all goes, I don't have to work but it isn't a hardship on me either.

Your doing my dream.  Retire from the bill paying job and do something like that wear money isn't the driving factor.  Only 30 years to go.  :Thud:
