Why does the classic Johnny Cash song "One piece at a time" play over and over in my head when I look at pictures of that T/A convertible?  :notsure:

It's your car and you certainly can build what you like. However looking at those ones posted and other ones I have seen over the years they just plain don't look good to me. If you like them though of course do what you wish. They look okay with the top up but with the top down I think it is too much flat black or something, not sure what it is but it just doesn't make it.

Interesting takes on the looks of the T/A vert.  When I look at it with the top down, the black doesn't bother me, but the rear spoiler looks out of place to me without the top.  Hmmmmmm
Contrary to the opinions of some, I am not dumber than I look.

I like it. But.....I haven't seen an ebody vert with the top down that I didn't like.     I tend to think they look a little off with the top up?

Says the guy with a base '73 Challenger with a pseudo T/A stripe......and a T/A spoiler.....with an R/T hood......lol

I think my dislike of a T/A Vert comes from feeling the hood, exhaust, spoiler and call out all detract from the overall beauty of the Convertible it's self.  Having owned a real T/A, my mind doesn't want to wrap around seeing it as a convertible.

Of course Challengers have such amazing body lines that they look great regardless of most mods.  So, continue to give this some thought and then do what feels right to you........... and maybe just buy a Challenger T/A as well!

Some things come to mind....
He spent the exact amount of $$ for it that he wanted too. It wasn't anyone elses money, so who cares ?
Its his car, so he can do whatever he wants with it. He did not buy it to please anyone else.
In the real world, how many people that will see the car on the street will know whether the factory made it that way almost FIFTY years ago ?

:D :D :D :D
