Question: 1970's California emissions NOX device Exempt Sticker

Were these only on 1970 cars, or were they also on 71' cars.

To my understanding, they were only found on multi carb'd engines then.

Auction ended so I couldn't view it but Multi carb wasn't the only exemption... anything with more than 429 CI was also exempt.... I doubt I have the old documents anymore but I was certified back in the mid 70's & thats how it was...

My parents 1970 Vista Cruiser Station wagon has one.

All 1970 cars got them at least. I think they were put on later when they went to mandatory smog checks.

I've never seen one on another year.
