So tomorrow I'm going to look at a 1967 Dodge Charger (to add to my Mopar collection).

This will ultimately be a project car, but IF it's in the same shape in person that it looks to be in the pictures/videos (a big if sometimes, for sure), and I can get it at the price I want, I will be getting a heckuva deal...

In any event, it's a factory 383 car, and the engine is definitely a big block from looking at the pictures and seeing it in the videos running, etc..

So my question is, how do I verify it's the factory 383?

Thanks guys!!

date code is all you have , if the date of the casting is 3-4 months ahead of the SPD date
The VIN was not stamped on the block in 67
There is also a series of #s under the dist in front of the right cylinder head showing what the engine was built as but still no VIN
