Hey guys,

If you don't have the luck to come here in Normandy to visit the D-day, here's the opportunity to see few pictures i will take when i move around.

Today i went to the famous "Pointe du Hoc"
The weather wasn't very good but it was probably close to the weather on the 6th June 1944 when the Rangers landed and climbed the cliff.

If you are interested in, let me know, the next post should be during the ceremony of the 4th of July at the cemetery of Colleville Sur Mer.

Thanks for the offer! If I could get momma to leave the US I'd love to take you up on it... Unfortunately she doesn't like airplanes... I fly monthly but momma wants nothing to do with it.....

Nice!!

You will have a lot of sites to visit there!
It depends of the time you stay here, but there are also nice things to visit on the british sector or Utah one.
If you need information don't hesitate, there is a link to my Facebook page in my profile. We could talk by messenger.  :bigthumb:

Incredible experience!

Thanks for sharing those awesome pictures. What a great experience for all. My dad landed and ended up going thru 2 other major offenses thru the war. Unbelievable history for everyone. I would love to get over there in honor of him plus to see it all.

Skid Row

Thank-You Husk for those excellent pictures! I couldn't imagine looking up at a MG42 barrel from some of those hardened positions. Would love to visit there some day.

Hey guys & girls!

I went out this afternoon before the end of the holidays, and as every year i made a stop at the American Cemetery of Omaha beach (Colleville Sur Mer).
I took a few pictures in order to share with you.

I also visited the Overlord tank museum for the kids. Nice museum, with good displays and nice vehicles.

Finished the visit with an Ice Cream at Arromanches les Bains where the artificial harbor was built before beeing destroyed by a tempest.

A lot of pics, i hope you enjoy as much as me.
