Sadly at John Schneiders's studio, Ida took two original Generals for a ride.

bummer but surely they will be restored.

Damn!
Sadly in months after hurricanes you'll see a number of vintage cars show up on Copart after being totaled by flooding or wind damage.

I'm wondering about the path the cars took to get where they did or Luke's driving skills ain't what they used to be.  :driving:

Haha.

The one in the tree doesn't look real.  Not sure what to make of that.
And yeah I have to wonder why this car was setting out.   At least i dont see a garage anywhere nearby.
Maybe he wanted the insurance money.  Who knows.

after reading the article and looking at the pic some more, I think the "car in the tree" is actually a prop with the vehicle mounted on a post to look like it is jumping the house. It does look like it is flying and the story only mentions the other car with the tree on it. Still doesn't explain why it wat outside, though there is no garage even in the pic.

John was actually in Tennessee helping with flood disaster there!

Mopsquad

Yeah, the tree view looks like a prop mimicking a jump.

hmmm....I don't see any broken glass from the windshield laying around.    :notsure:

Dash doesn't look right. Neither do the pillars. Is that the crown Vic conversion car?

6bblgt

yes, the damaged car appears to be one of the stunt/jump/Duke festival cars that are Crown Vic based

Mopsquad

So what were are seeing is essentially a setup?  The Crown vic stunt car was pre-damaged.

Mr Lee

Good eye.  Yeah those A pillars look like round tubing

it looks pretty straight except for the tree on its roof  :bricks:

That's crazy that you can take a crown vic and make it look like a 1969 charger.   Does it use original charger parts, or are they a full on kit?  does it keep the ford 4.6 v8 drivetrain?   could hop that up using mustang parts and have a pretty fun car to drive
