If you're a collector, and you certainly are, that's one thing. But I don't understand people who think you need a bunch of guns to protect yourself. From what? That one in ten million chance that someone might try to steal from your house. I never worry about it. I don't even lock my doors unless I'm away overnight.

You're probably right...not really something to brag about :drinkingbud:
I'm one of those 'different' Canadians I guess? I have no problem letting people know I have a lot of guns. About 100. I believe it makes people less inclined to want to break into my house.
My wife just shakes her head when she sees me bring home another.....

After a 12 month wait my tax stamp finally came back and I went and picked up my newest suppressor for my 300BLK today, now I need to SRB it.

I never lock my doors either, actually I don't even have a key to my own house. The wife does. Unless we go away on holidays it never gets locked, same with vehicles. Thieves are not highest on my list as to why I own what I own. I firmly believe that when the general population is armed it keeps the government and police  " in check " a healthy respect if you will.  History has lots of examples of what happens when people are not armed. Especially governments that want to take them away.  I consider it a "my duty to my country" to own firearms. I'm not saying everyone should feel the same way. If they make you nervous , don't own one simple. Fact is that human nature has stayed constant since the very beginning, we are incapable of governing ourselves, the ugly corrupt side of human nature always takes over (power/money) if left unchecked . When the general public owns firearms , to me it's an insurance policy or equalizer of sorts that draws a line in the sand. When people are not permitted to own them, there is no line and that has never worked out well in all of history for very long.  A unused, dusty firearm means everyone is doing it right..... I hope mine always "stay dusty"  metaphorically speaking

I think we all need to agree to disagree on this subject  :grouphug: I think if you want to have guns around, go for it...we need mutual respect for everyones opinion.  :drinkingbud:

I'll be the first to admit I was VERY naïve when it comes to gun laws here in Ontario. I never dreamt that a person in Ontario would be able to own "about 100 guns" or just store them open in a locked room :o that shit scares me...I thought we had stricter laws....no offence dodj  :lurking:

None taken.
But don't be scared, they are all locked up when I'm not around.

While Covid19 suggests we should stay home more, what are you doing?
I thought I would go back to work on some gunstocks I've been sloooowly doing.
Here's a thumbhole nutmeg laminate I've been working on.

Don't your rifles need to be secured in a gun safe ?
Yes guns use to be in a safe. Took my guns out and stored my toliet paper. more value lol
Get in, I'll drive
