Thanks, I received a lot of rain in Montgomery but am ok. The tornadic activity which caused so much loss of life in Smiths Station and the nearby area took place about an hour's drive east of me. :(

Hi Neal, We're all good here in north AL. This missed Auburn University where my daughter and family live by about 10-miles, Beauregard, AL and 30-miles, Smith Station, AL .
Keepin the folks down there in my prayers, 23 deceased so far.   :('

Ah man that terrifies me. Makes the snow and cold seem not quite so bad some days.  :andyangel:

Hey Wade,

Glad to hear all of you family are safe. Any word on Alan and Peggy?

Jim
Be careful. Don't get caught drinking the Kool-Aid or believing the hype.

While this is a bad case for sure, your much less likely to be killed by a tornado down south than shot dead in most major cities.....   :alan2cents:

We didn't have any severe weather in the northern part of the state this time...
I sent Alan a Happy Birthday text Friday, he responded so at least we know he's still kicking.
His health has been seriously poor the last year or so.

We were in a tornado watch most of the night but strong winds kept it away from South Carolina. Thank God. Prayers to all those who were not as lucky as us.

I just got off the phone after talking with Jim and Pam Walker - Whitesatinmopar. They are fine and just wanted to make sure I was ok after having heard about the weather event in Alabama.

There are some seriously nice people out there who keep folks in their thoughts just because it's how they are - you guys as well - and Jim made sure to ask me to remember him and Pam to the forum.

That's pretty cool! I think of them from time to time, wondering how they are doing?  :slapme5:
Do they still not have internet where it is they moved to?

Glad to see everyone is OK.
I'm just Northwest of Atlanta and just heavy rain and thunder here.
I've seen a lot of damage and lost lives here in the South over the past twenty years I've been here.

Several close calls where I live but we have been lucky.
When the sirens go off we head downstairs to a foyer in the center of the house between the garage and the laundry room.
Nothing else we can do but pray.
Joe
