Just thought I'd pass this along. I service small engine equipment for a living. I'm finding more than usual, mice nests even in push mowers from over the winter. Maybe give your equipment a quick look over. They like to chew wiring....

That's funny, we were at my Mom's a few weeks ago firing up her riding lawn mower for the first time and found that exact same thing...tons of stuff all packed in around the cylinder head.... :crazytalk: crazy mice....

Look for the tow chain...

Just make sure it's a tow chain & not a rattlesnake.....

Weds I got a new grand baby, "Its  a Girl" She is so beautiful and its my first, then yesterday I had to fly to Charlotte N.C to check out a machine for work. OMG that was the scariest flight I have ever been on. That plane jumped around like two groundhogs in a sack. Then I heard that a tornado might have hit the Atlanta airport. Been a very eventful couple of days.

Congrats on the grand kid!   :congrats:

Wow, Alan...  I just can not believe how great you are at turning these car from projects to works of art in a short period of time.

Well today was a Dad day. My son came down and we swapped motors on his boat. The boat was used in salt water and you could not move the motor. He bought a old Skeeter Bass boat for $300, swapped the motor and sold the bass boat for $300, so he got a motor free. "Chip off the ole Block" :haha:

Cuda at first show of the year in Niles.

It was pretty cool out for a Californian.
60 degrees in the morning. Brrrr!!

Ton of people asking about my car.
Most asked question was "How long have you owned it?"

Then after the show, I went up to Andrade Rd gas station and put in 98 Octane.

She really liked that top shelf stuff.
Seemed a little more pop on the exhaust note and acceleration.
Wasn't too bad a price. $6.72 a Gallon.

..... was worried about an engine noise so I went over, listened to it and could feel the valve springs hitting the valve covers (common on Hemis). So we pulled them off and beat in reliefs with a pair of ball pein hammers.

did that yesterday :bricks:

Topcat

Yup.

Been there done that.

How come nobody ever thought of telling me..."Hey let's put Beehive springs on the exhaust side so the springs won't hit the valve cover?"
