Honey cruller or French cruller what ever you want to call it. I could eat a dozen to myself with a glass of chocolate milk.  :drooling:

I've got two favorites but surprisingly, they are on complete opposite ends of the spectrum.

The first(and probably the absolute worst kind for you) is the "frosting" filled with chocolate glaze on top.  This is not to be mistaken for the disgusting "pudding" filled version.  Believe me, I've been fooled more than once.  Their outward appearance is identical.  You don't realize you've been had until you take the first bite.

The second is just a plain old cake donut.  No glaze, no sprinkles, no extra sugar on top...nothing.  Something about its simplicity make it one of my favorites.

Went into a meeting where I had to sit next to two huge boxes of doughnuts.

Didn't eat one but damn that was tempting.

Good choice, @MOPAR FANATIC, and if you ask me, old fashions are underrated!

Great self-control @HP_Cuda! If I ran the world, for every donut you passed up on, your scale would read 2 lbs lighter!

Next time I'm in Canada, I'm seriously going to have to find the cream/frosted filled delight y'all are talking about- a Canadian Maple is now a must; Canadians know how to make a donut!  :canada:

HP_Cuda

Wasn't easy and they didn't have any old fashions in there, if so it might have been like crack and irresistible!!!
