Title: Gear Vendors - vibration
Post by: BillR1212 on March 02, 2020, 05:38:52 AM
Hi Team,

Anyone hang this off the back of the trans? I have a bad vibration at certain RPMs. I did have the drive shaft balanced when it was shortened. Just seeing if anyone else has this experience? Maybe I should have it balanced a second time. I also feel that all the extra weight hanging off the tail shaft can't be good for it. I don't see a way to fab in supports however.

73 Cuda is the vehicle.

The short driveshaft is very touchy when it comes to the driveline angles... Do you have the pinion angle at 2.5* nose down ?? It needs to be spot on..
