Title: Rear spring rubbers
Post by: cudamadd on May 27, 2020, 02:47:10 AM
Hi I am going to replace the rear spring shackle rubbers and the large front eye rubber . My car is all original not messed with . What do you guys think Would you use the factory rubbers or use the Black polyurethane rubbers from energy suspension.? On one hand I wanted the one piece bush for the front like the factory had used but thinking it's probably no big deal as you will not see them . I know it down to personal choice The main reason i have asked this is because I can get the polyurethane ones over the counter . All would have to get the factory ones from the states or so and with my luck the could take for ever .Its not a factory restored nut and bolt car I know it's only a small thing but it's keeps me awake I guess these cars mean different things to different people .

In your situation, I'd go with poly.
Why wait and pay extra for the rubber.

Reading between the lines, you want the rubber ones. So go with that.
