Title: 73 fender turn signals
Post by: fireguyfire on March 27, 2020, 12:41:27 PM
Just getting around to removing the fender mounted turn signal lights on my 73 challenger; I'm not sure the the rubber gasket on top is attached to the pigtail below and they pull out as a unit, or do they separate and remove?
Trying not to wreck them removing them so I thought I'd post it here before I get too forceful with the removal process.

Pretty certain they pull up from the top, the base rubber is part of the wire connection. Inside the fender, unplug it and pull from the top. :alan2cents:

Yep.  pull from the top.  Fishing the new wire in can be a pit of a pain.  i recall just taping a piece of wire to mine like a fish tape.  it made install a little easier.

:iagree:  Fishing a wire through is always a good idea.    :bigthumb:
