That looks almost like it was hand painted on rather than a rubber stamping.
Better question is what is it doing on a floor pan.
Unless rework had to happen (scratching my head) there is no reason for that.
Are we thinking it's 99? All the 99 or 999's I've seen have something to do with special order or something that is not standard in the process. Do you have a fender tag or build sheet for the car? That might explain what the 99 was for? :thinking:

:iagree: The 9s don't match. Awfully strange for being on the floorpan, could the 998 be the last 3 digits of a part# needed to be yet installed on the car during assembly?
