Title: Seat Identification Help
Post by: Blowout on July 08, 2022, 05:10:25 PM
I just recently bought some nice used front seats for my 70 Challenger, thanks @anlauto (https://forum.e-bodies.org/mlist/anlauto_19) for the help!

Below are pictures of the seats that were in my car when I bought it.  Would like to list them locally for sale, but not exactly sure what they came out of or what year.  Guessing one is a Charger and other is a 72-73 Challenger?  Any guesses on what they came out of?

1st picture is a 1970 Challenger seat.
2nd picture is a 72-74 Challenger seat.
I see both have adjusters. 1970 adjusters/tracks have a wire connecting both sides.

The first one looks like a cross between Charger and Challenger...it's weird....Second is 73-74 E Body....Unfortunately they are not a matched set, so I think they might fetch $100 Each ?????just a guess :dunno:

 So the drivers seat was changed out at some time. Are the tracks the same , maybe only the seat was changed. Either way ,I think the 70 style seat is worth double the later style.

The 72-74 Challenger seat is also correct for 72-74 Barracuda.
