just saw this on Facebook, for sale by Hendricks Performance. Says only 15k miles and looks like a survivor but not sure. They are proud of it! :o

Good looking car. Did that type of steering wheel ever come on an E body?

YES...it's a rare option, I believe it's referred to as a "ring blow" :bigthumb:

Interesting , as it says the wheel with horn ring was standard on SE's. My 70 SE did not have it.

I had a 70 SE and an RT/SE but neither car had one like that
:iagree:Same here.
also interesting, that page of steering wheel options does not show the Tuff wheel. I am positive that was available in 70.

Never offered on on E-Body.
odd, I have one on my current 70 convertible and also had one on an R/T that I had years ago. I can't believe either of them were swapped!
No JS is right...no Tuff Grip steering wheels in any year of E Body....but it is a simple bolt in swap....looks like your rally gauges may have been swapped in as well at one time.
interesting. They could have been swapped, just would surprise me. I bought the car in 1986, was sitting in a back yard minus drive train, no top, and rusting away. So it is certainly not close to numbers matching but seems odd those things would have been swapped that long ago (when they were not worth anything) and by the owner that clearly didn't care for it. No worries for me, guess I'll just add this to the list of "resto-mod" items (:
