Title: 1971 Challenger Headlight Bucket Question
Post by: Daveh on July 31, 2018, 11:43:28 AM
Hey guys,

I'm installing my headlights and buckets and the Body Service Manual doesn't have a good picture of where the hardware goes.  Does anyone have a pic of where the hardware and springs go to install the buckets?  Thanks

to position the headlights properly there are 4 different buckets, originally color coded - these are a '72 GTX
don't know if they were all the same - there should be stamped info on them as well

I believe its:
tan = RH
blue (green?) = RH hi beam
orange = LH hi beam
red = LH

Is that same color coding used for all 4 headlight models?

I was just noticing that  they were color coded on my 70 Challenger, but I only have 3 original buckets, so I'd like to know what color the missing bucket should be identified with.
