A truly rare optioned example with a bench seat, column shift automatic transmission featuring a sought after high impact color! Since this car was a low mileage survivor in good condition, the owner decided to do a minimal restoration to preserve the car from minimal surface rust. The car was disassembled with all items bagged and tagged, the original steel panels were rotisserie cleaned just as it was from the factory not to be overdone and professionally painted with base & clear coat paint. The paint on the underside of the hood and trunk lid is original, as well as the Shaker and jacking instructions decals. According to the broadcast sheet the car was supposed to have undercoating, we chose not to under coat the car so the original floor pans would be completely visible. The car was then reassembled to as close to original as possible with its original parts and only a limited amount of items that were replaced due to age. Replaced items include the headliner, carpet, seals, brake lines, fuel lines, exhaust, wheels, and tires. The car has its original interior with exception of the above mentioned items. According to the broadcast sheet this car is not supposed to have the hockey stripe but at some point it was added to the car, possibly dealer installed, so we put the stripe back on the car after it was painted. (It can be easily removed if desired by its new owner)
The original engine, transmission and carburetors have new seals and gaskets, but they are not rebuilt in an effort to retain the originality of the car. To the best of our knowledge this car has been put back as built from the factory runs and drives great looks awesome! All the paint and assembly work was performed by David King Restorations in Hamersville, Ohio.
Earl G. Gettelfinger AKA "Hemi Earl"
Earl started collecting Mopars specifically 1968 to 1970
Chargers and Road Runners when he purchased his brand new
1969 Dodge charger which he kept until his passing. Over the
years as his printing business grew along with his wealth Earl
started collecting higher end Mopars like 1969 Hemi Charger
500's, Daytona's, Superbird's and Cuda's at one point owning a
1968 Barracuda Sox and Martin clone race car he purchase
from NHRA record holder Jerry Daily, Earl also enjoyed early
Jaguars owner and restoring several of the over the years.
Earl would buy, restore, keep and sell these types of cars for
over 50 years along with collecting a vast hoard of rare OEM
parts up to the day he passed. I had the honor and privilege to
be related to Earl and work with him on some of his favorite car
projects for several years the knowledge Earl had of these cars
was second nature to him he could look at a fender tag or a VIN
code and tell you every option a car had amazing...
Earl was known as great person to meet and do business with
having a network of friends all across the country. At the time
of his passing he had a collection of two warehouses of 26 cars
and parts and a basement in his home was like a NOS Mopar
parts department at a dealership. In Earls last requests at the
time of his passing he wanted share his wealth with his family
and to leave 40% of the proceeds of his estate to charity.

And now it's twin  except for a manual transmission is for sale at $410k. One of 368 and here is the second one same color, rims, hood, what are the odds. $160k vs 410k. Ah hmmm, yea I'm good with the auto.
