Title: Dick Landy Boycott Challenger Wheel/Tire Setup
Post by: dave73 on November 15, 2019, 06:04:37 PM
Anyone know details on what size tires were run on the Dick Landy boycott challenger? I've read the rear had a 4-link setup and pictures look like it was tubbed. Any idea on tire size? I'm going for the super stock look.

Those are Crager ST's aka Super Tricks... Not the Crager SST which is the heavy ugly chromed steel Street Super Tricks....

The typical rear wheels are 15x14 with 18x32 slicks..

Front usually 15x4 with front runners but some guys ran 15x6. Looks like Dick has 15x4

Oh, the Super Tricks are not DOT approved which is why the SST's exist..

Also if you look on the fender above the front tire you'll set the Crager sticker..

Never heard of an 18 x 32 slick? Typical tire size back in that era was a 14 x 32 slick...14" wide by 32" tall on I would guess a 12 or 14" wide wheel.

14x 32 is a very common tire size , that is what I fitted to the rear of my tube chassis Cuda
