This is what I do, make elastic from bra staps to underwear elastic. This video is made on a 768 hook loom. Meaning it has 768 individual cords that go up and down to make a design.
Enjoy!
And if you would like to post what you do for a living or what you did feel free.

That's is super cool! I'm amazed with technology and how things are made. I love that you were able to do something like that. :grouphug: E-Bodies.org underwear for the next Prize Shop? :D
That's pretty neat...So my wife's bra's could have Cuda's on the straps?
Pretty cool! How about E-Bodies.org head bands, wrist bands etc.
Ok Tim, now look what you got started. Wish I would have thought of that when I was in the business. Challenger and Cuda underwear, rather than Hanes! Good Job.
You can put anything you like on elastic, any design or logo.

Cody I will be mailing you a package per our discussion this coming week and I will put a sample of the elastic in the package.

and it gets better. I made some anti-rattle tubing for the door latch rod. Not the same material (100% cotton) because the original does not exist.
I know I've reused a few door "anti" rattle coveres that I wished I would have had something new like what you made. :clapping:
This is from a supplier visit, any guesses?

SMC, a type of pre-preg fiberglass-like material that gets put into a ~2,500 ton press to mold the panel.
Ha: A year ago I made one trip in search of Wild R/T, that was enough for awhile again.

If your looking around the Canadian border your not gonna find me.. Better go back to working the counter at the Speed Shop...... :vipermanhiding:
Nope: That first shot was a small town west of you (San Jose I think). I spent a few days all over that area. I spent two days in Modesto waiting for 1 lousy skid of fruit, then over to Monterey or Salinas for the rest of the load. It was over 100 which didn't making waiting any better. I like your area though.
That last shot was waiting at the border after 7 days on the road and reminds me to never do that again. You're right, selling Chebby parts is easier for a supposed to be retired guy like me. ;)
If you spent two days here you should have messaged me, I'd at least take ya to McDonald's...
it's always interesting to see how everyone pays the bills. I like it!
I agree: It's kind of neat to see what other people do.

For 18 years I made blow molds for plastic bottles ( lots were shampoo) That brings back some memories going to plants trouble shooting.
That is so interesting. I as well cant show the brands of elastic I make but go to Walmart or some the High end stores and you can see them.
This has been my program for the last 2.5 years, finally coming to production in July!

A lot of work and thinking goes into the machinery to move and do those products , epicyclic walking heads etc.
Interesting !
Good work Goody: There's a lot involved in making it right, weight, space, longevity, comfort, eye appeal and cost of course. Paccars were my favorite, nice ride, no squeeks, good quality switches etc.

that is one beautiful peterbuilt !
I take hills like this and turn them into homes like that.
I actually do a majority of the work. I'm a working General contractor.
The home is an I.C.F. constructed home. http://foxblocks.com/
Roof is spray foam insulated to sub-straight and has an R value of 55.
42' tall of I.C.F. Wall insulation value is R55+
Main room window is the largest warrantable window I could get in America. (there is larger, but no warranty)
9500' Elevation. snow loads are 95# and wind load is 120# I personally saw 4' of snow and 80MPH winds.
12' interior walls 14" floor joists 28' main room height.
I could see 4 mountain ranges from this building site. So I got about 5 sunrises a day and 5 sunsets a day. Absolutely Beautiful
www.SimsCustomHomes.com
One evenings sunsets.
And I have to add that at this property we have seen in the driveway,
Elk, Deer, Moose, Bear, Bob cat, Turkey, Grouse, Mountain Lion tracks in dig out hole.
Bald eagles and golden eagles. Tons of Hummingbirds.
Best office I have worked in yet !!!
Building in the mountains....you are very talented and brave. Enjoyed the pics.
