I had a few hours to blow while I was in Birmingham before I met up with my family for a gathering. My cousin told me to go to the Barbar museum as he was sure it was something I would enjoy. He hadn't been but could hear the race cars all the time from where he lives.
I went there and was blown away. It's the world's largest motorcycle museum. Absolutely amazing! I hope you guys don't mind a bunch of motorcycle pictures. Figured I would share the motorcycles that I enjoyed. After spending 3 hours there I felt like I needed another 5 hours to take in stuff I skipped past.
I'm a bit of a Sears buff. Mostly due to my first gun from my paww was a sears and roebuck 22.
I do apologize for the picture quality. I was in a rush and just snapped away.

That's it. Again I apologize for the not so great quality of pics.
I will make a day out of this museum next time in Bama!
Roll Tide !!!!
Wow, pretty impressive. Thanks for posting it.
I dream of having a few 1912-1915 bikes that run.
Or course there are lots of bikes I'd like to have, but the origins really appeal to me.
We have a really good motorcycle museum here as well. It takes a day to go through it. I find it easier to follow the upgrades in technology when looking at bikes for some reason, I guess because everything is exposed on a motorcycle and the parts are more obvious.
Pretty cool! Thanks for sharing all those pictures! Lots to see, more than a day required it appears! :bradsthumb:
Thanks for posting those pics. Lifetime biker.
I owned a few of those Buells. Oddly enough I lived in Alabama and never went there. Shorted myself.
