Here's a 72 AMX Jav 401 cu in/TH400 on SF Bay Area CL for $17K. Seems to be in excellent shape.

That 69 AMX brings back memories.
My dad and uncles used to go to the Hershey PA swap meet every year...that's a long haul from Canada.
Well one of my uncles brought back a 69 AMX one year, mid eighties I would guess. It was blue, with the white stripes. I think it was the 390 and definitely a 4 speed.
The last time I saw it, it was rotting away in the back field at the family farm. My brother and I begged my dad for that car, he said it was just a piece of junk AMC and not worth the time. Maybe it was, he said that about a lot of muscle cars, but it feels like the one that got away.
