Made it home fine. Got into heavy rain in Ontario but not as bad as Buffalo on the way down. So glad I didn't take the Nina.
Just got home tonight around 8 pm....flew through the border which was very surprising....Had to claim about $11K CDN in parts....Government loves their taxes :takemymoney: ....ran into heavy traffic and ran for the last hour, but in was sunny and warm in the G spot when I got home.....jumped in the hot tub, then the pool.....and now off to bed...too tired to unload my truck.... :tired:
We just walked in the door. Thankfully, an uneventful trip. The Pixie decided to break her turn signal switch (probably just the screw came loose) and a speedo cable. Other than that, she drove like a champ!
We had such a great time, but will post more tomorrow when I'm more alive.
I got home around 9pm . Great time, thanks Murray for the drive down! I likely wouldn't have gone without your generous offer to drive!
Did 456 miles in 7 hours on 4 hours sleep, we were beat but otherwise good trip home. Had a great weekend at Carlilse as usual and a fun week on our first family vacation with Ryan. For an active 3 yr old he really did great with all the driving and other things going on and I think he really enjoyed it.
Made it home around 5:30 last night, didn't have any rain, but crazy drivers on the highway. Decided to get off and hit the back roads.
Now Monday morning and back to business, steady stream of customers :Thud:
The weekend was great, always fun to catch up with long distance friends.
judy & Charlie
All good here as well! Left at 9:30 and home by 5:00 which was what I expected. Had a few "Sunday Drivers" but nothing to serious. Spent almost $200 in tolls for the weekend . . . May consider trying a different route one of these years?
Half way. Leaving Columbus OH now for the last leg into central Illinois. 6 hours to go. Thanks for checking!
We had our "Avoid Tolls" set up on the GPS and took some awesome back roads.

My two hour drive killed me, but I'm back :D
Hey Folks.... Not Home but had a fine 10 hour ride to N.GA to stay in the mountains a few days before headin back to Bama..
.. Enjoyed the show & especially hanging with the group.. :woohoo:
Got to the Cleveland (Mentor) Ohio around 4:00pm. Spent the night at my friends, left in the morning and back at my house (St. Catharines, ON) around noon today. Other than missing the odd turn off, no issues on either leg of the trip(s).
Home sweet home! (To a dead 2 year old MAYTAG fridge and rotted food, oh joy)

That bites , Glad you made it to Carlisle though
Seeing as how I was in Murray's car with Brad it was a good, clear ride home until it started raining torrentially just before we got into Cambridge. It was all good though, as I jumped out into the deluge as Murray stayed at the wheel to make sure the car didn't stall out or anything. :Stirring: It suddenly became clear to me that buying enough junk that it took about 6 soggy trips to the trunk may've not been the smartest thing I could have done. LOL Quite a ride and quite a show and quite a good time meeting new friends! :grouphug:

Came home to my fridge making a funny noise but it`s an antique (20-25 yrs old?) so I`m not surprised is probably going to give out soon.
My wife Susan and I (#22&21) got home ok. Susan bought a '65 Ford F100 p/u from Marysville, PA. 15 mins from Carlisle, so we trailered it home. She is very excited with this truck... it's the first classic vehicle she has ever owned, already she understands the passion we all have for our vintage Mopars. :)
Here are some pics, hope this works!::

Hey Andy! Tell Susan congratulations!! She's gonna have a blast driving that truck. Pixie and I sure did enjoy spending time with both of you this weekend!
Cool old truck. Congratulations.

:congrats:

Congrats on getting the truck Susan !!
Great to see both of you again
I just got back to Panama this AM & My computer is dead :bricks:
Super neat truck!!!! Congratulations on the new vehicle. Looks like you'll have a lot of fun with that one.
Nice looking pick up and I like that they kept it FoMoCo powered as well! Should be fun. Enjoy!
We made it home safe, but not with out some issues. Challenger charging system went down. Battery dead, changed battery from another car. Looks like a wiring, loose connection.
The trip to Carlisle was not great.
A couple was driving beside me and not paying attention , they rammed a car in front of them while looking at my car! :o

Yikes!! Glad you made it home safe!
Feel bad for the people in the car, they hit HARD.

So when your ready for a FoMoCo project.... Those trucks drop onto a late model Crown Vic cop car chassis with very little modification & suddenly you have modern steering, suspension, a over head cam V8 & overdrive trans..... Plus adding A/C is an easy upgrade....
