Guys looking to share a few pictures of this AAR I recently bought. This is my third Mopar, 68 Charger H code that I sold, and now I have a 69 Charger RT 440 auto ac car that I restored.
I don't know much about the E body so any comments regarding originality are appreciated. I know the various things under the hood are vintage 70's day two things. I have confirmed the drive line is original and the vins match.
Thanks
Sweet car!
Auto or four speed?
What did you pay for it?
As far as I can tell..you have one nice AAR! Just WOW! :ohyeah:
Great color , looks great , not sure the gauges under the radio are stock tho LOL
Beautiful ride! I'm envious! Enjoy! :lookatthat:
Great looking AAR! Congratulations :ohyeah:
Nice pickup :perfect10:
It's an automatic, really wanted a 4 speed but originality won out on this one.
What's the story with that green tag on the distributor? Does not look oem?
Trunk floor center section has some small pits no holes or anything, and has been repainted. Looks like the other part of the trunk has GM spatter paint on it. I removed a small amount and found blue paint. So that will be ongoing project.
No 70 Mopar had Electronic ign , yours has it so it is a later dist
What does this green tag on the distributor decode as?
That's an awesome car! Very cool! :worship:
Well I would need the # from the dist
It could be a 72 & up production dist most likely or it could be a Mopar performance dist sold as a kit to upgrade to electronic ign less likely as I don't recall MP dist having the tags on them .
Cool AAR!
Does your car have rear shoulder belts?
Looks like it does
Congratulations. Enjoy your AAR. :welcome: :bradsthumb:
That is a beauty very well done
Aar and Ta's are my favorites
Thank u for sharing it

Super car, love it....I just think black vinyl tops look right at home on an AAR :drooling:
Rear shoulder belts would be extremely rare, hard to tell from that picture. :takepicture:
The car has a broadcast sheet correct ? Any mention of them on there ?
Great looking AAR! That is beautiful car that you don't have to be afraid of to drive and enjoy.

That build sheet looks really well preserved. I wonder if it's a reproduction? I'm far from an expert just made me wonder? Not that it matters beautiful AAR enjoy it!
Nice, congrats and add me to the jealous list.
Love It.

:perfect10: :1place: I love 4-speed's as well. but that dose check all the other right boxes. :driving:
Sweet AAR! Congratulations!
GREAT CAR!
I would say the build sheet looks original, like it was stuffed in there quickly just like that.
So, let's see a pic of the build sheet. Very curious about those rear belts.
Can we see the fender tag in any case? that would sure help with what's supposed to be on the car and what is not.

Cool AAR!
Does your car have rear shoulder belts?
No those are the front seat shoulder belts.
Really its a low option car. No PS, hood blinkers, has 3.55 rear gear etc. Guess the vinyl top, rallye dash, auto, console are noteworthy options but several cars had these.
Very nice AAR. Congrats! :clapping: :bravo: :woohoo:
That one checks off all the right boxes...congrats. Nice car.
Very nice indeed...
