Ad states "original radial tires" are off car and stored. I don't remember radial tires as an option when I was looking at ordering a car in 1970-71 time frame. Was it an option?
Terry W.
White Hockey Stick Stripe Decal? 800 miles?
I thought these stripes were only available black from the factory for 1970. :notsure:
No white stripes ever, no radial tires available in 1970-71...kinda fishy story if you ask me
Doesn't that look like a thumb wheel radio? Or am I wrong?

I see a Thumbwheel amfm.
Looks really good... but wonder why such little detail on an extremely rare original, and low mileage car. Wouldn't you want to scream the details. And for what it is if it is don't you have them

The AM/FM in 1970 was a thumbwheel :dunno:

Did not know that, didn't realize it was different than the Challenger.
Radio isn't different than a Challenger...same thumbwheel AM/FM in both 1970 models Barracuda and Challenger.
Agree, pretty sparce on the photos and description...do those mirrors look to be 71 up or is just the way I'm looking at the pics.

They're not.

I would agree about the mirrors...they do look "big"

Yes it was. My factory ordered (by me) '70 'Cuda had the factory AM/FM stereo multi-plex radio with three speaker dash and rear speakers w/fade switch and it was a thumbwheel.
BTW, did anybody notice the plates. Cuda RT. Unless I'm mistaken the Cudas did not have an RT model, only Dodge.
Cool car, love how it's equipped, but I have serious doubts that it's an 800 mile survivor.
More than likely it's 800 miles since a restoration.
Yes, the mirrors look big, but it's hard to tell with the resolution of the photos.
Where are the exhaust tips?
Does anybody in Ontario know the car ? It's the first I've seen it :dunno:

Ad says Midland about 45 minutes from me and I've never seen it at any of the local shows /cruise night's etc... Nice "looking" car though.
You never know what's been hiding, found this 10 minutes from my house....
with 800 miles, it clearly doesn't get out much.
My guess would be the seller got his hands on this but is not a hard-core Mopar/Ebody guy so simply passing on what he was told or making it up. It is nice, and rare, so someone needs to go check it out and get more details
The car was discussed on another forum, and a Canadian poster there said he knows the car. It was restored around 15 years ago, the shaker etc are added and it's got 800 miles since it was restored, not since new. :alan2cents:

That makes a lot of sense. Kind of what I suspected.
It's possible that it's George S' old car that has had the white interior and other options added (and still retains original paint), but I really don't know. His car was a triple-black '70 383/4-gear and pretty stripped IIRC
@BS27R1B (https://forum.e-bodies.org/mlist/bs27r1b_3385) - any insight?
I read on Facebook that this car was created on Quebec by Michael Poulin. It may be a real car but most options are added.
The white stripe and fantastic claims are clues this is a
