OK so if someone types in a user name it will take you to the profile ?

Mentions work by using the "@" symbol in front of the users name.  Then they get a message that you "mentioned" them in a topic so they know to come and take a look.  That's only one of the many neat little mods that are being added to the site.  :)  Stay tuned for more soon.

@roadman (http://forum.e-bodies.org/index.php?action=profile;u=17) the key to making them work I'm finding is to type the first 3 or 4 letters of the members name after the "@" symbol and then "Select" the name from the drop down lost.    :alan2cents:

                Gotcha, it worked for me and you, but @ ec_co  didn't drop down on my end,  :notsure: but he got it as a message.

I wonder if it could be because of the odd character in my name (the underscore) that the pop up isn't showing? I got this last one too, did the pop up show that time?
