Title: A Special day...Again

Today, July 29th, marks my 18th wedding anniversary  :banana:

I know some of you have me beat, but I waited a long time to find the right person and I think it paid off... :inlove:

I couldn't be happier  :P

Thanks for all the well wishes everybody, you're right....I did pick a good one....puts up with a lot of car parts coming and going from our home.

Yesterday was nice, spent most of it, just the two of us relaxing by the pool....then thanks to member @kdcarman (https://forum.e-bodies.org/mlist/kdcarman_184)  , we found a nice restaurant right in our own small town where we enjoyed some very nice steaks, then back to our house for desert if you know what I mean ;) ....... I'm talking the kind that ends with "cake" and starts with "cheese" :) :drooling:

So now that's over until next year.....today we celebrate her birthday :pullinghair:  never ends :bigmoney: :haha: :haha: :haha:

Maybe you'll get lucky (snicker) and there'll be some "cake" left over from your anniversary to help swallow the birthday old boy.  :D

Congrats on the milestone and "the right one".
Married at 24 and now 34 years in. Still with the right one.

At first glance for the thread header. I opened it thinking I would be able to get a special discount for the day. Blue light special kind of day...

I'm still on my starter wife as well. Getting married later is a good plan if you aren't finding the right one early.

Just to keep this thread going...
Can't believe it's been 20 years since I said "I do"....Can't believe she's stuck around this long, can't believe we have one kid just about finished High School and another starting University this Fall :looney: Where has the time gone ????

We were booked on a cruise ship that would have been docked in Santorini Greece  today, and I had reserved a special dinner tonight as well...
...but thanks to Covid-19, the best I could do was a outside patio dinner (we still have NO indoor dinning) at a local Keg steakhouse....at least we have a gift card for it... :haha: :haha:

First noticed her in High School in 1969 burning the tires off of a 68 Dart ! That hooked me. Married her in 72 when I turned 18. The rest is ....Still here.

 :cheers: that is awesome!  Love the "no card" yet - sounds like me!  I have always found it easier to ask forgiveness than permission - we are only on 15 as of this month, but she is a keeper - I bought the 'Cuda without telling her - was supposed to show up the following week on a transport so I has some time to break the news.  Got a call on Saturday 6 hours before having friends over for dinner to let me know it would be arriving that evening - had just enough time to get a few cocktails going before it showed up - friends were a good buffer!!  Wife just look sat the car now and shakes her head....
