I'm putting a 440 in my Challenger. Originally a 318 car. A guy has some for sale. 1.18 and1.25. 44". Would these be in the range for a street car?
Sure , by today's stds most were too light , 1.25 is about as large as you can buy but with a quality shock they work well
I believe they should be 41" long not 44"? I have 1.120" in mine and love them, you will need good shocks though.
44" are C body bars. 43.5 are late model B body. Challenger bars will be 41".
Ok so I was ok on the diameter but not the length :Thud:
Yeah, I measured my old ones. They are 41".
I'd also be weary on why they are two different sizes ? Should torsion bars be equal side to side ?
44" is too long as well
He has 2 sets
Oh...that makes sense...I read it wrong I guess....my bad
For comparison, Factory 440+6 or Hemi cars got 0.92" bars
PST sells new 1.03" bars, 41" long for $239. Just FYI
