Title: Last night in Milwaukee....
Post by: blown motor on July 06, 2017, 07:27:29 PM
I was riding around in a very sweet, green, 70 Hemi Challenger. It was Miss Nikki's first run of the season and she seemed to enjoy it as much as I did.
BIGS is dealing with some aging parent issues which is why he hasn't been on the forum much lately. Let's all keep him in our thoughts.
Chris, it was a very enjoyable evening. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Chris is as good as they come. Sorry to hear of family health issues - prayers sent out for you and your family. Great to hear that Miss Nikki got to get out and stretch her legs a little bit....

Murray, thank you so much for dropping in. It was a well needed diversion to all the insanity that its been the last 2+ years. I was glad we could get my girl out for a ride! NIKKI needed to see some daylight thats for sure. Nothing like a good blast thru the tunnel! Stop by again anytime

Wade, how did you get our picture?  :haha:

Ken, thanks for the kind words

Hope everybody has a great time at Carlisle!

Like Arnie says................... I'll be back

BIGS

Hey Bigs,  I was in Waukesha last night at Kilpatrick Engine and Transmission picking up my Cuda.  Those guys have a pretty awesome Mopar shop.  They did me a solid and figured out my issues.  And they didn't gouge me for it.  They say they are Hemi engine specialist.  All of their stuff look Bad Bad Bad!  Did I miss anything?  Do you know if their reputation?

Good luck to you and your family.  I always say "family first".

Good to see you and Ms Vicky out and about Chris and I also hope your family issues get resolved as well. Sorry about that old Canadian farmer bugging you! It looks like there's nothing to do back in metropolitan Mitchell (pop. 800) and Murray's got the photocopier workin' pretty good on those Benjamin's, eh?  :Stirring:

Jordan, Kilpatricks is the HEMI shop in these parts that's for sure. Mucho race experience.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bfGErRR1rao  I've seen this thing run many times, never fails to excite! I've never had anything done by them but know guys that have. I'd love to drop off NIKKI and say call me when she's ready.  :burnout:

Thanks Bigs.  Kilpatrick seems like a straight up shop.  Jim the owner treated me like a valued customer.  Showed me his shop, and projects.  Talked Mopar, and took care of my issues.  He was the one to suspect my pistons were wrong and compression is too high.  He went through my engine build list and redid all the math to prove the compression.  And my bill was very reasonable.  If my engine builder wants to give me the runaround, I will bring my stuff back to these guys in a second.  It it nice to know that there are real Mopar experts close by to rely on.

Take care Bigs,  Hope to catch up with you at a show some time.  Have fun with Nikki!!
