Title: 1971 Plymouth Salesman Pocket Facts
Post by: Cuda Cody on May 11, 2017, 11:02:10 AM
Another fantastic item added to our E-Bodies.org free Reference Library.  This 1971 Plymouth Salesman Pocket Guide book is from the late Bill Drake Sr. collection.  Bill was a avid 71 Cuda fan and anything with a Hemi.  He owned the famous Red 1971 Hemi Convertible and many other rare Hemi cars.  His Son wanted these to be enjoyed by all of us and sold me a tremendous package of rare and hard to find documents.  Keep checking back in to see some of the cool stuff we'll be adding.  I can not thank Bill Drake Sr enough for taking such good care of these documents while he was alive and to his son for allowing us to enjoy them now.   :worship:

This is Bill Drake Sr with Tom Hoover (the Father of the 426 Hemi) in front of his Hemi Challenger.  And a couple photos of Bill's 1971 Hemi Cuda.

We used to go to a show in Weedsport NY every Summer. The show was just off the I90 in Upstate NY.....A couple of Summers in a row we ran into the Drake family cruising the I90 in that red Hemi car as well as two 383 convertibles, one yellow, one Tawny gold I believe....

I was driving my curious yellow 71 rag top.....fun times fooling around on the highway....Bill was a top notch quality person for sure :worship: :andyangel:

Bill Jr has been super nice to work with.  He was telling me a few stories (similar to yours) about his dad and the fun they had.
