Title: 70 Challenger Right Fender Pentastar Question
Post by: 7E-Bodies on April 12, 2023, 03:39:35 PM
I found the reference material thread for placement, drilling etc of the Challenger right fender pentastar, but the repop I have has no fasteners. Just the two stems. Can't think of the name of those stamped out nuts, but does it take one of those or a push type metal clip?

I just pushed it on with a dab of silicone.

Should be friction fit w/o any fastener.  The larger pin is a fastener in itself.  That's how mine works.

I believe the clip your referring to is called a barrel clip. But like everyone else says they do is it's a press in fit. Use a little silicone if you like should work.

Looks to me that the retainer tabs on the one you have are broken off when removing it in the past .
