Title: Nut orientation on leaf spring front hanger bolt?
Post by: Dakota on October 14, 2018, 06:21:21 AM
Which side of this nut is supposed to be against the metal on the front hanger for the leaf spring? The side with the slits in it or the side that's solid?   Also, what is the purpose of the slit?   Thanks.

Nuts go on the inside of the hanger as well. Bolts go in from the outside of the car on both sides.
