Ya, quite a dreamer, but you never know with people w/money these days.
Rusty poking through 318 green Challenger vert for $30k?
I don't know, I haven't seen a convertible in better condition for less lately. Considering what rusty no-engine shells of 70-71 cars seem to bring, 30k for a complete, running convertible that needs a little love doesn't seem out of the question.
:dunno: That's a pretty good point gzig5. I guess if someone is okay driving it that way. Kind of looks like there is trouble lurking under the paint but I suppose it could hold up for a while. Seems like all you get for $20k is a rust hole sans engine.
the owner wants 20
dealer seller has to make a profit.
Pass.

If you have seen what I have seen under my car after I bought it, you would understand my position. I guess it depends on your perspective but I'd drive that car every day and twice on Sunday. I see rust but nothing that would scare me away. I may be naive but I looked for a viable car in my price range(10-20k) for better than ten years. Pretty much everything that came up in this area was an incomplete pile of crap in the middle or out of my price range. I finally found a car that was complete enough but it has hidden treasures . The fact that I could drop a German Shepard through the floor of the trunk did not deter me because the interior is all there along with most all the little pieces. I applaud anyone who can find fine specimen of an e-body for under 20k or a convert for less than 30k, but it ain't happening within 500 miles of Milwaukee unless I've been sleeping. And to be clear I am in no way a collector, just a guy trying to relive a little of my youth through these cars. I may be off but if you look down your nose at this car at this price, you'll be waiting a long time for something equal or better. I'll go back to my hole now.
Had to look close at this one; ad lists JH27C = 6cyl
Code tag lists 318 engine E44
The G looks like a C on the tag
Listing ended
Looks like it did not reach the $29.9k price
:takemymoney:
