Title: K Frame, Full Front Suspension, Brake Parts, Axles
Post by: 392 Cuda on December 25, 2018, 12:14:04 AM
Now that I have my new AlterKtion/Wilwood setup installed, I'm wondering if I can recoup a few dollars by selling everything I took off my 74 Barracuda.

Does anyone know what I should ask for this stuff?
- K-Frame
- Front Suspension/Brakes

Are these worth anything more than scrap?
- Power Steering Gearbox
- Axles from 8 3/4 488

I appreciate the help!

I would not sell it yet , you may not be very impressed with the Alterktion system  :alan2cents:

It's finding someone within driving distance that's the problem. I'd say $700 for everything would be an enticing price.

Unfortunately people just won't pay anything for used stuff.
I've sat on things for years that I couldn't give away for pennies on the dollar and eventually thrown away.

Best case scenario I'd say $400 for everything.
You can definitely sell the disc brakes and UCA's so I'd keep them and toss the rest.
People always seem to need K-frames but they always sell for $50-$75 and are a pain to ship.

I like Chrycos idea of holding onto it if you can. Who knows, maybe a six cylinder e body will come along and you could drop all this in it. The good part is it all looks clean and rebuilt so it's much more appealing that a pile of rusty stuff that needs reconditioning.
