So a few years ago my dad left me a box of tools prior to him passing . . lol So here are some of them and I need help with what they are? Stumped on some ..
Part 2
I see what looks like a pickle fork and a sheet metal flange tool.
Last photo in the first post looks like a spring depressor.
Also looks like a corbin hose clamp tool in there? Those are super handy.
Sweet .. please name each tool .. fun stuff here... some I had an idea but a couple .. :drunk:

#2 pickle fork (removes tie rod ends)
#3 appears to be a flanging tool for panels (Looks like it goes into an air hammer tool)
#4 valve spring compressor (probably flathead or small engines)
#5 No idea
#6 Not sure possibly pliers for spring clamps
#7 Tool for installing and removing brake shoe springs (long springs)
#8 Also tool for removing brake shoes springs (hold down)
And of course in every picture the most important tool of all the ever popular Bud Light long neck!

I think the real question is: How many of these tools can be used to open that beer....I would guess darn near ALL OF THEM !!! :drunk:

#5 will hold the pistons in on a drum brake cyl while you have the rest apart
#6 are insulated plier for pulling spark plug wires without getting 80K v shock !!
6 is a plug wire pliers. You use it to pull the spark plug wire off a running engine to see if the cylinder is working and you don't get knocked on your butt from the spark because of the plastic ends. I have this and used it a lot back in the day. All the other answers are correct. Didn't know what 5 was. Never used that one.
Damn! Guess I should've scrolled to the bottom before feverishly compiling my list. LOL. Numbers 7 and 8 are two tools that usually come as a combination, which makes life easier. Based on the flathead valve spring compressor and wheel cylinder piston retainer and then code reader, your dad must've been an old school mechanic working through the 50's/60's into the 80's. Be happy; I've got it all here, too and it was mostly left to me by my dad, too. I think of him every time I see them and so do you. :cheers:
