Title: Stamp under windshield trim
Post by: Matt13 on July 25, 2020, 12:50:19 AM
Took off the bottom big windshield trim piece on my 1973 Barracuda. Is this just another VIN stamp? I can't make it out yet.

Its not a Vin stamp its a usually a date code and or vendor stamping, those stampings are on many original panels.

I think they are called Lot Die Stamps.  They track the stamped lots in case of updates or changes?  Dave Wise would be the only one I can think of that might have records on them.
