Post by: Ragtoptime on February 16, 2019, 12:14:23 PM
Had this on the shelf a long time.
Came from a 71 Challenger 340 I bought back in the 80's
Thermoquad Carb #4972S  4 speed  Not froze  Everything moves as it should. Came off a running car
Intake 35122100   10/5/70
Idle Solenoid DR1114429
Also have distributor #3438522.
Thanks for any help

You just hit the jackpot. Approximate core values: Intake = $100-$200 bare (slow seller but one year only 340). Idle solenoid = $350-$500.00, Carburetor = $350-$500.00, $100-$250.00 for the distributor with original tag.

I don't have a buyer but I get requests pretty regularly.

Over the past few years I have been collecting all these parts for my 340 4 spd build, my build date is late so I needed an intake with the hump and paid $125, the carb I got from Scott @ harms for $400 and then paid him another $400 to restore it. The distributor I paid $ 175 and then another $ 150 to restore it and finally the idle solenoid was $325 and Scott @ harms restored it for $75.
