Title: New front sway bar rubber bushings and end links, should I put any lube on them?
Post by: GrandpaKevin on June 13, 2019, 05:07:00 PM
Getting ready to replace the bushings and end links on the front sway bar.

I'm using new Moog rubber parts.

Should I put any lube or grease anywhere on the bushings?

I was thinking of using some lube used for mounting tires as it should be safe for rubber. :notsure:

Thanks.

I thought that poly got grease and OEM rubber did not?

I often use some silicone grease inside the frame bushing sa the bar tends to rotate inside those bushings

I may be wrong  I have never seen any recommendation for lubing rubber bushings,Poly yes.
