Title: shipping
Post by: ogre on July 01, 2022, 11:20:28 AM
 :dunno:
So being new to E bodies, and trying to restore a very picked over car I find a lot of my budget going for shipping. I see much lower prices for companies that have shipping contracts. Couldn't the club get a contract with a shipper? So many people are buying/selling the volume must be pretty good. No idea if it would be allowed, just thinking out loud.

I had my radiator done up in Wisconsin and the owner suggested Speedee Delivery. Kind of odd, yet convenient. They picked it up at my house, got it to him just fine and brought it back when done. The only thing that made me nervous was they don't allow insurance. However, it was a flawless and very cheap transaction.

my wife stumbled onto Pirate Ship, they give great discounts for USPS and UPS shipments. We use it for shipping sold items to buyers, doesn't help much for purchasing/shipping from sellers. They even do international shipment, sent an item last month to Poland!
