Hi i am looking for a small block bellhousing and 4 speed shifter mechanism & rods for a A833 tranny. I see 4 speed stuff is made out gold some people are asking some ridiculous prices for the stuff.

many people have been converting auto cars to 4 speed as they are not daily drivers much anymore so parts are always scarce or expensive , I have personally converted over 15 cars

I see and still searching just the bellhousing and shifter left. If they didnt already start the 4 speed swap by having the pedal assembly I wouldn't be doing it. I know now that 4 speed parts are made of gold.
Trust me it is worth it , the cars are so much more fun to drive with a 4 spd
the shifter is still available new from Hurst , you could use an OD belhousing with an adapter ring for the smaller brg retainer hole or if your trans has the 4.80 diameter front brg retainer already the OD retainer would bolt on & fit the OD belhousing which might be a good option as the OD parts are far cheaper & more common , someone listed 3 of the OD belhousings last week for $50 each + shipping , but they all sold already .
