...so a few months ago I picked up a used car that I have lusted after since I was a kid. It's a clone, but it seems solid and well done. Enjoy. And thanks for all the info I have picked up from the forums the last few months. Dave
Welcome! Wow very nice ! I love it! :veryexcited:

Just picked up a 70 Barracuda project myself a few days ago.

Welcome! Nice Cuda!!
Great car. I like the wheels. Nice thing about clones is you are free to change up/improve a few things.
That is a nice looking car and those wheels look like they belong there. Should be fun to drive!
Looks like a blast to drive. The minilites are a great touch. Congrats!

Very nice 'cuda!
Congratulations on your dream car, and welcome to the site! :welcome:
Very nice. Congratulations. I like the wheels, very cool. Enjoy your new ride my friend.
Nice 8)
Thanks for the compliments and welcomes from everyone. I am very happy to be part of the group. Yes, I am very pleased with the look of those Superlite wheels. Had to replace the old tires anyway (good tread, 15 years old), so I decided to swap out the Rallye's for a more old school Trans Am look. The car actually drives pretty nice but it is noisy, unrefined, and reeks of gasoline just like a muscle car should. Keeps me on my toes, can't go on autopilot like a newer vehicle allows.
Tell us more about the wheels... They look great..

Thanks. TA Superlites from Classic Industries. Went with 15X7's with 235/60's on the front, 15x8's with 275/60's on the back. Using black chrome Gorilla lug nuts to hold them on.

Thanks. 4 speed, pistol grip. Pretty faithful restoration, at least until I started adding some of my touches. Unfortunately I was not provided with any history on the car. Started out life as a 318 per the VIN. Whoever did the restoration must have had one heck of a pristine donor car. I am neither a restoration nor Mopar expert, but I have been all over this car and have yet to find a speck of rust or any weld that does not look factory. And it is obviously not just some rattle can "hide the bad spots with paint and undercoating restoration".
:welcome: to the site sweet cuda.

Welcome to the site from Ontario, :canada: and congrats on a great looking car!
That's a H ell of a car, no problem as a clone, I would drive the paint off it
:cooldance: that's a great looking car, however I would recommend a harness bar because that setup could cause injury in an accident, spine compression...
It wouldn't pass NHRA rules for safety
