Title: Dash frame 70 Challenger
Post by: Mopar5 on July 09, 2020, 06:51:32 PM
Im lookingfor advice on painting the dash frame . Its out of the car and in primer with no parts attached. My question is what is a good color for it and does any of it show once the trim is on. It will be a burnt oarnge interior if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance.

yes, much of the lower half of the dash/ashtray/glove box is visible once installed - the original paint was a "suede" finish lacquer

Instrument Specialties has the real "stuff" if that is what you are looking for *****  :ohyeah:

An easier method is Herb's Paints, they have a great burnt orange available in a spray bomb  :alan2cents:
