Title: reared gear oil

i just had the rearend rebuilt on my 70 challenger.  its a positract.  i'm probably overthinking it, but can anyone recommend a particular gear oil?

Do you know what type pos/locker/sure grip unit you have? It matters..

basically 80-90w gl4 gear oil but you will need an additive for the sure grip

I run Lucas synthetic gear oil. You don't need additive with synthetic. This is like motor oil in the aspect most guys prefer a certain type or brand.

It depends on which Sure Grip you have.  Factory style clutches, Detroit Locker, true trac etc.
