Title: heater hose routing
Post by: Challenger32 on May 16, 2022, 06:49:45 AM
Anybody help on the heater hose routing ? I have a 73 Challenger with AC . The heat continually blows hot air thru the AC vents . Im wondering if I have the hose crossed coming from the control valve into the firewall ? over the winter I changed to a updated newer compressor .I haven't charged it up yet if that is a difference making the heat come out from my vents ? I also have the heater control inside cut to off but  still blowing heat out

Thanks

Is the water control valve working ? Sounds like it's wide open ?

Also, Are the seals in the box good and are the doors closing all the way.

How is the cowl to hood seal?... I could see engine heat getting in through the cowl vents.
