I restored this car for a Father & Son about five years ago....since then, the Father has died and the son wants to sell the car....the memories are just too heavy and he'd like to build his "own" car
So here's the question.....What's a well restored, super clean 70 Super Bee worth ? Built 383 with a stick and N96 .... :burnout:
Is there anybody out there that likes theses "love it or hate it cars " ?

Beautiful Car :wowzers:
Needs to be 4"-6" lower....
Man, that really stinks. At least they got to enjoy the car some.
I have no idea of value, but since you restored it I'm sure it will be a great car for someone.. Yes I'm a kiss up, but I really do respect you.
I just have one question. How many hours do you work a week? You must be very disciplined in time management.

He really wanted that big bad bruiser look...I see he's added gauges on the outside cowl now...real day two look.
Is the engine compartment a different color than the outside ?

No, it's all FE5 red....it could be just the lighting in some of the pictures ? :dunno:
Numbers match ??? Fender tag , Build sheet ?? Options ?? :notsure:
I would think if it still looks fresh that $50,000cdn would be possible.

Yea, at first I was skeptical when he threw out that number, but looking around at comparable cars.....his would be one of the nicest restored examples in that price range :alan2cents:... a little bit more though and you could have a six pack...
I'm one that actually LOVES the '70 Bee! I would think a non-numbers 383 4 spd should sell fairly quick in mid $30's. Your main hurdle will be finding someone who loves it because the buying market for the '70 is more narrow than a '68-69.

I have a for sale ad listed now....numbers tranny only, original tag, no sheet, deluxe interior, N96 etc...
$40k US might be reasonable for someone if it's a bit negotiable. I don't hate 70 Coronets but somehow a 69 383 car is alright but for me the in your face 70 grille looks better backed up by a Six Pack or a Hemi. The 4 speed and N96 will sell this one.
My prediction is this one is making a trip across the Atlantic.
I was honestly thinking you worked closer to 60 hours a week. I guess the 300k restoration includes "I thought about your car today," "I looked online for parts," "I showed a customer your car," so you get billed 4 hours today.

That's pretty much the sentiment with the '70 and that grill - you either love it or hate it!
4-speed and the N96 are a big plus ... and since it's not a numbers car it's prime for a Six-Pack or Hemi upgrade :alan2cents:

If you count all that stuff, I probably work 80 hours a week :alan2cents:
Nice looking car for sure Alan. :wowzers: Do you have a picture of the fender tag? Is it an original red car?
If this was a vert, I would be negotiating as I type. :inlove:
Don't have a picture of the tag, but I found this....
Don't ya just love Lynch Road tags!! :crazytalk:
Some comparables ...his price seems fair... I just listed it on Cars-on-Line for him, should come out tomorrow...

So if you had a choice, would you take the red beautifully restored one for $40k or this numbers matching 51k original miles with bs for $28.5k?

For the extra $11.5K it's a no brainer....that one has a host of issues, mainly the colour change and the three speed but if you're just looking for a cheap(er) driver... :dunno:
If there was a market for these things, I'd be all over this V code version project... :drooling:

I am not in the market for either one, but sure would have to give the lower priced car a good going over. bet you could buy it for $26k.
