Really cool to see such a late 71 block using the left over T/A castings.  @6bblgt (https://forum.e-bodies.org/mlist/6bblgt_211)

I've seen other leftover TA blocks that got used during the '71 model year, but really hadn't thought much about it
the lack of blue paint has me most curious

1B401596 - partial VIN
TA340 11*25*69 - casting date
G?340P3573 - 1971 ?? 340 Premium Fuel assembled 5/10/71 * NO sequence number

from a late May '71 Duster 340

the second digit should be a "M" (Mound Rd. Detroit - blue engine) but it looks like a "W" (Windsor, ONT - orange engine)

lots of 340 4bbls for 1971
~10,000 Demons
~12,000 Dusters
~ 3,500 'cudas
~ 2,300 Challengers
~ 1,700 Road Runners
~ 320 Super Bees
