Gotta go re watch him again now in FMJ.

It was so real, just like what drill sergeants really were then.
Still vivid in my mind how intense they were.

Gunny was a really really nice man in person. Quite humble and accommodating considering his celebrity status. I had the opportunity to meet and spend an afternoon with him at a highpower shooting match seven or eight years ago. Old guy could still knock the center out of the x-ring at 600 yards too. He was one of the good ones. Rest in Peace. Semper Fi.

I met him at a gun show in Dallas. He was defiantly a patriot. RIP Gunny

I never met the man, but I wore the uniform.

Semper Fi is what we live by in the Marine Corps, he embodied that spirit.
