Unfortunately I am not going to make Mopar Fest this year, I will be slightly north of there dipping my feet in the Arctic Ocean.
I do plan on being there in 2020!
I'll be there Saturday. But I won't be parking with you guys. I'll come over and visit you guys. My buddy used to go all the time there with his dad and his Superbee. His dad passed away not too long ago. He wants to still take the Superbee there. So I said I'll go with him and park right by him. So hopefully the weathers nice!
I won't be there with a car. :'( Trying to make it as a spectator tho. All depends how busy at work I am. I haven't been able to do anything on the car in months. It's been so long that the sandblasted k and diff are starting to rust again
Spectator only for me. I'm looking forward to stopping at the tent for visit!
I feel so honored to be NOT included... :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:
I don't have a car to show, but I'll always stop by to tell you guys what's "wrong" with your cars.... :haha: :haha: :haha:
Sunday only Murray, save me a spot please. I'll be with the Niagara group on Saturday.
I'm 95% sure I'll be there.
The wife starts her holidays that weekend so we have plans to tour around the southern US .... :sorry:

Well I thought of you but I figured you'd be vending. It's the thought that counts. :pokeeye:
Sorry, that weekend I'm at the Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit.

This year we're having a 90th birthday party for my Mom on that weekend, so not sure how many hours I'll be there, but I will be there all three days for sure !
I'll be there hopefully on Saturday, but I'm not sure about Sunday, Murray. How are we set for tents? I've got a 10X10 I could bring if needed. Do we have a banner to fly? Food, booze, coolers? Bring your own chair would likely be a good idea as well, eh?

You and Jason both have 10x10 and I have 12x12. Jason has banner. No food plan at this time.

Hey guys...I finally registered...I think I am comfortable that the car will make it...at least I hope so!!!
My wife and I will have lunch available for all members both days...likely some cold cuts, buns, snacks etc.
So please feel free to stop by the tent and say hello, stop awhile, check out
@blown motor (https://forum.e-bodies.org/mlist/blown-motor_52) 's fleet, shoot the shit, what ever don't be shy, we will keep @anlauto (https://forum.e-bodies.org/mlist/anlauto_19) under control.

Looking forward to meeting more of the gang this year. Hopefully find some parts that I need. Will not be bringing the car this year, as I'm only on year 36 of my 40 year restoration plan. The good news is I'm a full year ahead of schedule. Looking forward to seeing some friendly faces soon.

Oh man does time fly!! Sorry I'm kinda late responding, but I hope to make the trip north to New Hamburg on Saturday the 17th of August.
If mother nature screws with Saturday then I'll try Sunday. If the weekend is a wash out then maybe I'll see you next year.
Hey guys if anyone has for sale a straight rear OE bumper core for a 1970 Challenger please let me know! :worship:

Aw man - now I need to make sure I get to this show in the near future - I've always wanted to meet you and shake your hand. I still have that kickdown linkage you sold me all those years back and then we had all that trouble with the shipment... Plus I've always loved your e-body! :)
2020 - I'll do my best...

Wow really,
@ViperMan (https://forum.e-bodies.org/mlist/viperman_88) I remember the sale, but I had no idea that was you! That's cool.
That would be awesome if you came up to Moparfest...I wish we could get more US guys to come up.
I hope to beat you to it though...I am planning to make it to Carlisle next year!

Well I hope you do beat me to it then!!! But unless the Woodward Dream Cruise ends up being both absolutely incredible AND is the same weekend as MoparFest again next year, I'm going to make every effort to get to Canada next year. My passport is still good to go. :)
But yeah, that was me. Seems like many, many moons ago. :) I still have a lot of parts I bought for that car but never got installed before I sold it.
Woodward will be the same weekend as Moparfest next year. It always is. But you could do Moparfest one day and Woodward the next or visa versa. I've done it, it's not hard.

Yeah me too! I was actually planning to come to moparfest this year until Viperpunk said he was coming to Woodward . . Next year . . Maybe we will both come up to Canada!
Hell fellas...big show is this weekend.
Anybody else going to join us!!!
Jason
Damn! I've gotta get out in the garage and wipe off the old Challenger, fill the oil and check the gas and hope the old gal make's 'er again! :D Hope it doesn't r.. sheesh, nearly said the "R" word!
BIG SHOW IS TOMORROW!!!!!!
the weather is looking...well sketchy, but we are hopping for the best.
Looking forward to seeing everyone!
Jason
BIGS has arrived. But he has no cell coverage. He's trying to work that out now. This is entertaining!

Just back from Moparfest....Saw this cruising the swap meet :o
That is my friend Daniel's Daytona, just pulled out of a storage container in Massachussets, it's now in Quebec, will get restored, but he's done all mechanicals to get it running with ''patina'' before he restores it. 440 Auto.
Ben
The Challenger is all cleaned up in the covered parking at the hotel... not sure I'll venture to the show if the weather really is that bad...
Ben
Here's hoping the weather holds! I actually vacumned the old gal out and gave the glass a swipe or two. If it's good to go in the morning, I may even wipe off the wheels. With any luck, I'll see you lads tomorrow. Murray, try to keep Chris semi-sober, will ya?! LOL
I will not be there on Saturday. 60% chance of rain. Sunday is only 30% chance of rain so if all goes well I will be there.
Enjoy your day on Saturday. Hope the rain stays mostly away from the show.
40% chance it won't rain  I'm on my way shortly, but can only stay today until 11am...I have a family deal to get to..
Rain is supposed to stop mid-day, in the meantime, there are some nice cars to see at the Radisson, it has a covered garage...
Ben
Greetings..... I have reinstalled whats left of my hair after yesterdays cellular experience - 2 hrs of :bricks: :headbang: :pullinghair: Looking forward to meeting everyone. I get to drive Murray's 68! I've brought along a little bit of my favorite libation for testing/tasting. :slapme5: Were gona be rollin soon! BIGS is in the house !!!

Ben...is that Daniel Brissont ?
He always talked of his Super..baird, when I used to see him at the Granby shows 10 years ago or so.
He is a character and had lots of good stories and parts NOS and used.
Always wondered if he was still around.
This post need many many more pictures of Moparfest. Never been there but always curious about the size of the show, layout and such.
Rain is done from what I see! Have a good time guys!
Once the rain cleared out it was a fantastic day! Good people some nice cars.
It would be better if my car was not running like crap...not sure what is going on.
Jason
Just got home, lots of fun today and the weather turned out great. BIGS did a fairly good job of keeping up with me on the back roads on the way home. :stayinlane:

No, another Daniel, Dan Brisson had to sell off all of his Mopars in a nasty divorce a few years ago, and it has been downhill since then for him...

Those 67 GTX's look tasty as well.

Yeah: I love them, well that and 64 B-bodies, 69 B-bodies, 71 B-bodies and 70 E-bodies!
Pretty damn cool Daytona!
He was driving it around of Friday and then it was in the building on Saturday.

Awesome pictures Ben, thank you !
Too bad some of the lads got scared off due to the rain Saturday, as around 8:30 it quit and became a blue sky, hot day- all day, and today was intermittent clouds with hot sunny periods between them. Thanks to Jason and wife Ann Marie for providing cold-cuts sandwiches and chippies for lunch! Chris brought a bottle of Venezuelan rum that tasted like candy; Diplomatico I think it was called and we were able to confirm that it was not, in fact, poisonous nor detrimental to conviviality! :D Thanks Mr. and Mrs. Biggs :drinkingbud:
Awesome bunch of e-bodies there!

It's a bit ironic that as you can see from the pictures, there were a whole bunch of convertibles within the ones that did show up!
Ben
Thanks for posting the great photos. Some really nice cars there.
Great pix of some beautiful cars , Thanks
Thanks very much for taking the time to photograph and post up all those works of art.
Makes me feel like I was almost there, almost! Glad everything went well.
Had a great weekend at Moparfest hanging out with members. Got caught in a major rain on the way home. I'm driving the Charger and BIGS is behind me in the Challenger. We pulled off into a parking lot it was raining that heavy. Before we got off the road I feel water dripping on my left leg. When we stopped I looked over and see a pool of water on the passenger side floor. I have water coming in a couple places! :Thud: We stopped for supper in Stratford and then switched cars. Went to a friend's place place to show BIGS and Laura his Mopar collection and didn't gt home until after midnight. While we were there another band of showers went through. Went outside to leave and realized I had left my window open on the Challenger. I have a couple cars to get dried out today.
I also had a great time at Moparfest! Weather was great both days. It was nice to chat with JasonCuda and jimmynick at the Ebodie.org tent! Blown motor I looked at your Charger and it is very nice! Unfortunately I didn't find a straight OE rear 1970 Challenger bumper core to rechrome :crying:
@anlauto (https://forum.e-bodies.org/mlist/anlauto_19) or anyone else if you ever come across one please let me know and I will drive up there to pick it up. :thankyou:
